fished the beach today left of the burn from 4.30 till 9.30 (down to low water and back up ) using rag, squid, macky. my mate caught the plumpest rockling i have ever seen on his second cast then had a small codling a few cast's later ,for me another blank 
. .. normally i loose a few rig's on this beach but today all the big stones had been pushed up to the high water mark giving the effect of a dry stone wall and the beach was basically clean ,the burn was running straight out rather than turning 90 degrees like the last visit it must get some powerfull tides up there 
a couple of lads were fishing the rocks to the left of us anyone from this forum ? and did you have any luck ?
