fished seaham pier on fri night from 4 till 8! high water 5.15! 1 fish 2nd cast bout 1.5 pound on blacks! missed a bite 3rd cast! then got another just after high water bout 2lb on ragworm! got another good bite soon after but it never come back! then nowt crabbed off every cast! 8 oclock enoughs enough home time! THEN............. i have this brilliant idea......... the fish must of been there on the flood, i'l have a couple of hours sleep n come back down! so alarm set for 2 o'clock flask made, fags, lighter, rod bag, bag, bucket off i go! get on pier for bout 3ish!! half way up n i see 2 lights on the drum! gutted.... luckily no1 on number 2! one of the lads on the drum had a 3.5 pounder so i rushed got into the water nowt crabbed off! 2nd cast one bout 2.5pound!! then nowt for the rest of the night!! one of the lads off the forum "CATCHACOD" was on number 5 he pulled one in bout 1.75 pounds! well done mate! left at 7am bedtime! theres always next time!!!!
