fished whitley beach tonight and only 1 crab , its a bit bleak at the moment you just have to look at last night's nesa comp lot's of top anglers out and very little to show for their effort's .
At least you and your m8 didnt blank Mick, things are realy slack all over just now. Carnt wait for the Fly season to get under way ( 28th of March for me )
I,m going to still have a few cracks at the old sea fishing before the fly. Think the season is about up for cod but i,ll try for some Bass/flatties in the coming weeks.
I,ll be renewing my licence in April and wetting a line about then.
Mick.
The Soniks are good rods for the price Mick i have the SK3 14ft rough ground rod ( £110 ) bought it last Oct and used it all season on rock marks from Cambois to Craster and i carnt fault it. Next time i am at Blyth think i will have a look at there Fly Rods.
At least you got something mate.I fished it sat night through to sunday morning with my dad . had three coddies up to three pound on lug and squid. Also one nice flounder and about ten whiting. Fishing poor til midnight (when everyone else went home), then fished ok.
