    Started at 'the crack of dawn from The Haven' with a geet box of prime rag, 15.5 ft Conoflex C.M and a slosh 30; laang casting and short casting: NOWT

    Went on to 'The Fish Quay' spoke to a couple of lads who had fished the pier during the night and who had moved onto the quay after first light: NOWT ATWEEN US.

    Moved uo to 'High Shore', there was a total of eleven rods on, over the morning period: NOWT ATWEEN ANY OF US

    Drove up to 'Pottery Bank', spoke to a couple of lads who had fished there all day with : NOWT ATWEEN THEM

    Carried on up to St Peter's Basin where there were three rods already fishing -stayed for two hours: NOWT ATWEEN US.

    Thought aa wud cross the riva and gan to 'Harrisons Yard' but changed me mind and went hyem.

    Broke out two fower packs and managed six of them while watcin' the box, at least a didn't blank this time.

    That's the end of me sea fishin' for this yeor, see yeez in the Autumn.

      Not much : two full rigs and a hook trace in an eight hour sesh.

      Aa tell ye what, aa've fished up and doon wor coastline for decades and the Winter cod situation has nivva been as baird as it is nerw!

      Aa've ownly had three reasonable cod since Oct. and aa dee knaa wot aa'm deein.

          do what im thinkin about doing- cast your rig out without bait-it costs less and you sill catch the same amount of fish(none)
