  • Seaham.

Hello lads decided to have a few hours on seaham last night. Tried off the end mark one and struck what i thought was a decent fish. Had three hook flapper rig out with rag and tipped with squid.
On the pull up small coalie on the top, small babay codling on the middle and a crab on the bottom.-All returned safely.
Caught one more baby codling then due to tackle loss moved to mid pier. Nowt else caught after this.
Nice night sea flat as a pancake.
Could feel the season is coming to an end and thinking of some fish from the boats.
    Mick.

Why not try 'The Fly' for trout Mick, after the Winter cod.

It's what I've done for decades. Good fun, good sport and not expensive if you know where to go.

Never mind ,we all have days like this ,even so it seems to be happening more this year than any year i can remember, but its not over until the fat lady sings, although she is warming her voice up . March is when she sings for me ,then it is corse fishing until the mackerel come in, good luck--Karl
