  • South Shields Pier.

Tried somewhere different today with ian. South Shields pier. After the long trek and getting round the locked gates we set up off the end.
Ian had a nightmare losing at least 5 sinkers. I did well until the end when i lost 3.
Only saw one codling caught all day-it was very very poor and disheartening.
I think i had one bite and that was it.
fished for a good while-and big fat El Blanko.
After my last couple of sessions down Hartlepool i can,t wait to get back to familuar ground.
It was good to try somewhere new and we had some good crack with a bunch of local lads.
Shame we had no fish.-sea looked spot on.

    Mick.

Hard lines Mick, It's always like that if you try a new venue. but then again it is not very consistant pier, you have to move around at various stages of the tide to catch fish if it's not fishing very well. Hope you get a few on steetly.

The Fladen suit looks really good and has luminous yellow around the top-impressed.
