Hello lads-just in again. My intention today was to go to Seaham and have another go at the pier but at Durham i changed my mind and decided to fish the Heugh.
I thought the water looked spot on yesterday and was certain there would be a nice cod about on the rock edges.
Went up top and had a good few hours off the top corner. Bob C was on the bottom.with another couple of lads.
Well it was whitey city again. Big fat whities full of roe. Kept three and put yhe rest back-must have had about ten again.
Alas no cod again?.
Someone on the pier quipped they were going to ring sea angler "best whitie fishing for 50 years" which raised a titter.
All in all a good sesh-my hands are sore now and after two good days its time for a break. Next time out next Tues different venue.
One thing i did notice about the old girl was she is fairly dropping to pieces.
