  • First Session with the beach caster of 2014

Sigsy, Nathan and myself headed up to Foxton last night to dust of the beach casters, after initially having to move around the beach a bit to get away from the weed we knuckled down for a few hours in windy conditions. We managed 4 size Codling between us all between 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 lb, all returned, all on worm baits. Not loads of fish by any means but no-one blanked and it always nice to get straight into the season with a couple of fish.
Happy to help, Keen to learn!

Nice to hear Phil, glad the lads all caught. Will have to have a spin to Foxton sometime in the next month or so. The daughter is cutting down on my fishin time though!
