had a late start fishing from 11pm till 5 am on the pier last night with me mate a few lads coming off very dissapointed nothing about only odd whiting ,so we got to the end and surprised there was only 2 blokes on there , well saying that there wasnt many at all on the pier .fishing was dire just a lad to the right of us pulling odd whiting in and tommys in ,few hours into the flood had a cracking bite which resulted in a codling just under 2lb . then a while later at top of the tide i noticed me line was slack and tiny tapping i musnt of seen the bite first time a codling just under 4lb hooked on top pennel nothing else showed up after that and me mate blanked poor bugger (unlucky stu but theres allways next time )
