fished last night off the pilot pier hartlepool from 12 til 3 am .used rag squid lug mussel not a bite nothing at all.tried steetley today fished from 2 til 6 pm same bait loads bites but couldnt hook in to any of them.fished from wooden platforms was bwt 20 lads on talked to few off them . seemed to be only small flattys being caught.saw 1 codling in chaps carrier bag as he was leaving looked bwt 3 pound .must have been the only 1 caught . not going out any more now til we get an easterly and sturs things up a bit.

never mind matey ,its a pity steetly wouldnt come into form ,like a few year back it was lifting

used to fish it 10 years ago ,on some nights it was like hartlepool fish quay,cod all over the place ,oh happy days and nights.
