  • Plenty fish, you just need to find them!

Whenever the wind is from any southerly direction we always have a few marks that will produce. Ended up with a good few fish between us and we were still catching when we left.

    Some pics.

I know that people worry about thousands turning up when someone specifies a mark that has caught fish, but is it even worth posting catch reports if all your saying in a roundabout way is "I went fishing & caught some fish".

Ow almost forgot, kelp in the pic so its defo from the sea area

I'm just happy to see that there are fish getting caught and don't blame the lad for not reporting where he was fishing. It's hard going out there at the moment and the place WILL be heaving every night as we all know if he put's the name up.

He didn't have to put the report up but i for 1 am glad he has because i was starting to think all the fish had done a runner lol.

Thanks Gregg, and John this section is headed with 'Catch Reports'

I reported that I caught some fish..........job done.

I'm not trying to start off a cloak and dagger thread but why should I disclose one of the marks I have known for years? I have fished it plenty over the years to determine when it fishes best, tides, winds etc. You only get out of angling what you put in mate.

I was hoping that the pics would boost morale as it has been dire of late... guess I thought wrong.

Not trying to have a go at you Sean, just a general idea of where you did the biz.......... Hartlepool, Blyth.......as general as that would do for me.

Well done Sean, must have been hard work battling the wind up there but it's paid off. Wish I could have got some decent bait and fished a beach but ended up at Hatlepool marina with a bit left over rag.

last cod of the night, picture taken this morning.

Three of us out 6 cod ,1 bass and 2 rockling all the cod were around the 3lb mark apart from 1 which was about 6oz. Live blacks was the main bait.
