    fished the match tonight, 7 till 10.30, the pipe then half moon skeers, the sea was flat and i blanked, i rushed back to the hq glum faced to see if anyone had got owt and my frown was turned upsidedown when i heard that noone had caught (sorry lads) and then got me 2quid back, home it was for a stiff drink.

    Fished just along from you at crawleys ' 14 of us in our stagecoach club match and ditto we all drew a blank absolute pish at the minute..

      Yep, was fishing the end of the pipe as well for the W/Bay match - only one bite all night (which I managed to miss) and a lobster. The fishing is pretty dire at the moment.
      ....fishin' accomplished......

        I was on the pipe just down from you fishing the seaton sluice match and nothing bait never moved and rod tip..15 fished 3 weighed in was won with 2lb odd, and HF was 1lb oddall the fish came from Amble area

          Considering the number of rods along the Hill / Crawleys / Pipe / Skeers marks I'd have thought there'd have been something - but I think all the fish weighed in for the match (only 4 out of 14 anglers) came from the Hartley area. I've had quite a few undersize fish of late & usually managed to avoid a total blank but think it's probably late November since I've last had a sizeable fish.

              never had a "sizable" fish lol first and last on the dot fish i caught was a coalie... lets just say not much meat but was all the sweeter for my best catch lol
              Species: Cod, Bass, Coalie, Flounder, Dab, Rockling, Mackerel, Plaice, Pollock, Ballen Wrasse, L/S Scorpion, Common Blenny, Weaver (unfortunately), Whiting, Common Eel, Trout, Pike... think that's it

                Fished two hours ebb at Hartley on Friday night and got one small bite just before low which I c**ked up. Moved to the beach to continue the blank haha.
