Again i went out to the pier seeing as i did alright last week, went with a friend that aint been on before so it was fun for him.. got on for 5.30pm and there were 2 lads fishing around the lighthouse for cod! me and ma friend were fishing in the channel.. no bites so i decided to go around to my hot spot and nowt just 1 bite being there 10mins and i seen the 2 lads reelin in summit as you can see the headlamp bounchin off the water, big cod! went around to see em and it weighed 6lbs very nice and the lad was excited!! first cod of the season he say! lucky for him was a biggy. then i went back around the channel with me friend and still no joy.. then surprise an old friend came along Davie G a user on this forum, he was with another lad also.. he was just talking bout me session last week to his mate while walkin on the pier.. davie g used to live acouple doors from me wen i was young small world!
Anyway they fished with us and had a few bites then my mate hit into a whiten not bad size then davie g hit into some nice whitens then his mate hit into some nice whitens too and then i hit into a nice dab 1lb but i aint caught a dab in ages so was nice to catch again!. anyway the lads around the corner left so i jumped into the spot for cod with me mate.. 30 mins nee bites! then davie g came around to say he was leavin and kept summit quite some 4 whiten and a nice dab for is to give to my other mate at home! thanks mate! anyway i went around to my hot spot again and 5mins hit into a fish 1lb codling was happy then 20mins later hit into a nice coalie, (davie g you left to earlie!) then about 30mins later.. i hit into another nice bite bang bang bang like the clapper lads!! reeled in then it got snagged i think, put the rod back down and still bang bang bang, then me mate come runnin round (here mate! come look at this) i was like am in too man!! so i picked the rod up once again and it got free.. reelin in the fish still on got it up and another 1lb coalie canny bite for a 1lb coalie!!, so i went around to see what me mate got! 2lb codling grr
**** happens haha.. great session! left at 12midnight, thanks all for listen! got pics but me mate has them. sorry!

shame like might try tuesday night when storm blows over.
ill try thursday nite next week.. got nowt from sandy bay far too much flood water & too much current, should be nice the end of next week...
