its gonna be a cracking sesh when the next cast after that one i pulled in a codling 2lb ,the odd taps from suspicious crabs as usual after that ,then tip pulls down time ya get the rod in ya hands its slack as out slackliner ,kept up with the fish and struck it ,got it down the side which can be dodgey on low water ,yes it happened sommit was caught and ended up snapping the hook snood i esimated it around 4lb plus by the weight of it . things went quiet after that so im moved back into shore same bait up i lobbs out as i prepared next bait up ,full runny and a generous portion of razor fish which was nice and fresh ,lobbs that out next waited and waited then bang rod rattled and pulled down dashed for the rod quick as a flash slack liner again i reeled and reeled couldnt feel it it was heading in towards is i caught up with it and wow it was some weight had to keep pumping the rod and aslo at to quickly adjust the stardrag tighter never felt anything like it dead weight coming in till 10 yards out it dove for the rock ,i couldnt play it was well hung up had to snap off 10 mins of head scratching .was devistated i believe that was my pb gone beneath my feet ,but that fishing for ya lads "You Win Some You Lose Some". i had another few casts there and headed further into shore again ,and ended up with 2 more fish around the 2lb mark ,finished 6am this morning
ended up with 4 size 1 returned 3 went home for the nieghbour
