  • Headland Hartlepool

Hello lads just in. Tried the beach again on the Headland today. Some canny rollers coming in. Caught nice bass first cast-thought ger in. Then it went down hill. Caught postage size flattie and small coalie. After six hours not a lot to show but it was dry and a lovely moonlit night.
Kept all my shi-- bait to chuck inside me squid next time down the Pool for Cod.
    Mick.

Paul i kept looking over at Steetly wishing i had gone on. Thought there might be some codling sniffing about. Just did,nt look right though. Sea flat as a fart. I decided on the beach where there was a canny roll. This surprised me cos on magic seaweed swell was zero. Cast into the surf and at least caught one keeper Bass so was pleased. Also did not have to walk miles.
Ian i,m still not drinking-don,t miss the hangovers one bit. Me an you will have a look out mate when it picks up.

        Mick.

Hope the Lord Crewe has a late licence - wouldn't be good to promote any illegal activity here in case of getting nicked and that.

Me and Phil had a few hours on the Heugh last night. We had loads of whiteys and flatties, double shots on two hook flappers.
