  • Abbs again!

A little slower than last week but a few better fish caught. I dug a hundred lug on my way up to Scotland and as this was my only bait today, I hoped the fish had a taste for worm.

    They did...............

    A couple of Codling.

A few nice Coaly's, in fact this is the best one I have caught for a number of years.

And of course......Wrasse, the place is stowed out with them and I found that they they like a bit of lug to.

This was a cracker at 4lb

    Some more....

I did catch a couple more but these were the best ones. Here's a tip for you, if you happen to be lucky enough to have dug a load of lugworm, simply grab a big handful and wip them on your hook with bait elastic.........believe me it works a treat.

Hopefully I can get another couple of sessions in up here before the real Winter weather rolls in.

    Tightlines, Dave

It's a thin line that seperates an Angler from a madman standing on the beach in january at midnight in -5 degrees with a northerly wind blowing in your face
