  • colleywell bay/fish quay

Well guys me and carver headed upto colleywell bay last night. we got our gear set up and sent the baits out had some cracking bites in the first 20mins or so then the wind and rain set in we hung on hoping for it to die off but it looked set to say so we packed our gear up and were set to go home.

10mins in the car and the wind and rain stopped so we headed down the fish quay to find a couple of others fishing. we got the gear back out and baits into the water it was hard going at the start but we soon got into the swing of things. the other guys who were fishing were pulling fish in left right and centre and all we were getting was bites lol then carver started hooking into the fish.

all in all carver had 2 flatties a rockling and a couple of whiting i only got 1 whiting but it was the biggest fish of the night.

    ill post pics soon

braved the rain get a grip of your selves that beach is a nightmare at high tide we couldnt see in front of us even with the lamps on full the rain was so heavy we dont the right thing by leaving and not putting our selves in any sort of danger (the sea is very unforgiving)
