S/S Pier (bit concerned)

After winning my match on friday (granty's) a thought i would go out yesterday after that big sea we had and fish south shields pier, a few of the local lads were down and i think one of them only had 1 fish about 1lb 1/4(i think) i blanked on my session but that is part of fishing, nobody else had anything really BUT there was a man who caught a pouting which was just undersize, when he caught the fish he took his rig off and put a new rig on (baited up) and casted out, he had two rods , whilst knowing that he still had a fish on his rig (because he would of had to re-bait his rig)he left it for about 10 mins then un hooked the fish packed his gear away and left leaving the fish dead on the deck, i think this in my opinion is a disgrace, i feel as tho one of us local lads should of said something to the lad who was from sunderland(tell by the broad accent), if you are going to keep a fish it should be atleast sizeable and shouldnt be wasted (even if size), the fish which didnt get wasted because one of the local angler asked a couple of youngins who were fishing if their wanted to take it home to eat it which i thort in my opinion was a really good idea (total respect to mr patterson) another thing which p****d a few of us off was when this bloke was casting he never said heads o give us any type of warning that he was casting out, it doesnt take much to say heads in my opinion

Overall a dont no if its just me being grumpy here or if am in the right, ano a wasnt the only one on shields pier that day who thought the same

I wasnt aware people from south shields were mackems. I wont say all geordies are scum because they are not, you can't go making statements like that it just makes you look like a total nob. why not come fishing down seaham sometime and see what some of us mackems are really like......

ive seen less trouble fishing roker pier than shields a lot of these lads are good men many of them accept me on there pier so give them the respect they deserve i think this crap stems from a silly football following i know a few sunderland lads you would not cheek up

i think personaly this has went from a good point to a daft arguement, we are all adults at the end of the day and we should act it anorl lol so less with the arguements and more talk about fishing

Well out of order Mark?? a massive understatement mate lol. I missed this post this morning unfortunately or it would have been dealt with then.

I notice toonarmy1810 that you don't leave your address at the bottom of your post so that everyone can thank you for your views. It is very easy to hide behind a keyboard and make nasty comments like that, unfortunately for you, you won't be able to make any more comments like that on this forum.
