      Don't hate them Bill, just not really fussed on spinning for them and don't really like them to eat. Feeling my little 30g spinning rod straining and the drag screaming on the reel, now that was good. It's like the world stops until the fish is landed, pure excitement!

                Did anyone catch anything on spinners or was the water still too mucky? Last time I was on that mark I blanked on the lures

                    Nothing on spinners Mike. Water was clear enough but no fish.

                      Same as last time then. I don't know why the lures aren't working at the moment it's weird.

                          Had similar probs last year nothing at all chased or even nibbled at spinners but float was a different story

                          So I tried cutting up a freshwater maggot feeder to make it smaller & more streamlined
                          & prepared a mashed up mix of squid mackerel & other bait we had for fishing & attached it about 12" above the lure & got fish every cast ........ Until something big I couldn't wrestle from the depths snapped me & I lost everything

                          The mark I fish is called hairy ness (I think)

                          This was the type of swim feeder
