Hello lads just in. Went to the Pool today for my dinner with my dad. The sea looked rotten with a heavy wind blowing to the left across the end of the pier. Went to Charlies and bought 3 packs rag 7 ounces each. 2 for tomorrow at Craster and used one today. Lovely big worm. Decided to fish and at the end of the pier it bordered on dangerous being there. Never mind out the bait went. Caught about 7 whities most on mackeral on my three hook clip down rigs.
About 6pm had enough and came off. As i did so saw the lads from Owton Manor Club Sea Angling. They were having a compo. I was dripping from the rain and wished them the best. Drove round past Twin Steps and it was a different world round there flat as a pancake. Steelty looked excellent and i,m sure the sea will throw up some cod for the lads. I have yet to catch a codling from the shore this season but this is only my second time i have been.Manor compo ends 1am tomorrow.
