        It's almost autumnal out there at the moment and there are some canny seas forecast for this coming week.

        Sounds a canny session for you, and just for you I might get round to posting my other Hampshire report with lots more pictures of rod rests

              went to s/s pier today got to gate gateman was locking up at 09.00 oclock wind was blowing a holly so turned around and went to hendon with kev and sean got nowt not a bite had crab ,rag ,lug, and whites still nowt

                  Your right there mark couple good seas if we get them soon should see the mackerel off and its cod hunting time. Daylight gets shorted and traces get longer.

                                Sorry, just noticed your post mate. Slappy blacks are fresh gutted black lug. Give them a bit of a slap and they tighten up to go on the hook.
