  • first day loch etive.

Arrived at loch etive around 6-30am for a 4 or 5 day trip with my son. Chose the priory for a daylight session. Started fishing just before top water (not a good time at this venue as fishes better over low). Not surprisingly the action was slow for the first 3 hours and then thornies came on the feed. Fished 2 rods with macky and sandeel and it was non stop action having over 30 thornies and a gurnard. Nothing big though best only about 2lb 8oz. Great sport though slthough did get a good soaking as it lashed it down for around 4 hours.
Catching up on some sleep now then target some bigger thornies and spurs tonight.
