Plaice at blyth pier

Not the most exciting report this, and no pictures, but just to say I took a bit of mackerel and a single peeler crab onto Blyth Pier yesterday morning and caught two Plaice - biggest just under 1lb. (Also 2 titchy Dabs). Had the end to myself except for a bunch of Guillemots and a couple of huge-looking Gannets swooping around.

Very very relaxing and thoroughly enjoyed it. Both plaice took peeler of course - it really is important to have some , innit.

PBs...Cod 8lb2oz.. Turbot 3lb2oz.. Whiting 1lb8oz.. Coalie 1lb9oz.. Flounder 1lb7oz.. Dab 15oz.. Plaice 13oz.. Bass 1lb 6oz
