Me and Phil fished the pier from 5pm to 11pm. Overall it was a canny session, definately the best I've had on there for a while.
Things started off with me getting a small whitey which fell off the hook just as I was lifting it up
Then Phil got a small pollack on the feathers, it took the hook only 10m away from the pier. Another group of people fishing next to us then reeled in a Bass, probably around 1 1/2 lb.
I then caught a dab and along with it I caught a set of new feathers and a 5oz lead. My next cast resulted in my reeling in a load of line with a spinner on it
After that we tried feathers for a bit and Phil caught a big Makerel. Another lad fishing next us then caught a Pouting.
On our last casts we were all getting thumping bites but when reeling in we found nothing, but then at last I managed to hook into it and it turned out to be the biggest coaly I've ever caught.
