I was out fishing today just the tyne. Spillers car park. 2 flatties a codling and eel nowt special. Some bloke told us that he saw some1 using mackerel and marmite. I'd this true? Has anybody used it? Thanks.
Try it, yeast extracts are very good bait additives for coarse angling because of the free amino acids in it. No reason why sea species wont have similar chemo receptors (how do they find your bait in coloured water). At the least you'll probably have fun with eels
