  • Eyemouth ??

    Hi,
Hope someone can help me out here. I'm hoping to have a trip up to Eyemouth, once the water clears. However I've never fished up there before. I'll be float fishing and spinning only (no bottom fishing). I know a lot of people will be reluctant to "give their secret marks away", but I would be very grateful if someone would be willing to tell me where to park, and hopefully point me in the direction of a couple of rock marks for Pollack / mackerel, which are not too challenging to reach by foot.
Many thanks indeed if you can help.
If you would rather, send me a PM
    Cheers.

Loads of info on here about Eyemouth.A few great reports over the last couple of days.

An easy mark is at the back of the caravan site. Ask to park in their car park, walk to the back of the site, through the wooden gate, turn left, walk 50 yards to the end of the wooden fence. Scramble down, not far and easy enough. Big flat rock at the bottom. Fishes any state of the tide I think. Rocks at St. Abbs Harbour are easy enough too, as is Coldingham beach. Other marks look way too scary for us!

Thanks for the info lads. Hope to have a day up there next week. Just hope we get rid of these easterlies, and the sea settles down.
          cheers.

Also buy Stores book - the Codling Crouch. Got it for Fathers day and its a great read as well as giving top tips on the marks up that neck of the woods.
