Shields Pier 29.04.08

Fished 7am until 10am today on Shields pier, using 2 rods, one baited upw ith runny down, rag,mackerel,crab and yellow tails and the other with lures and daylights.

Caught nothing at all and never seen anyone else catch a fish either.Going to wait 2 more weeks before starting as this eyar is at least 3-4 weeks behind last year.

Sea was full of sand clouds but it was like glass, lots of boats heading for the cann. Hope it stays like this for Wed as out myself on the boat to Souter area.

Crap everywhere at the minute mate, can't wait for the winter lol

time to switch to the heavy gear for wrecks on the boat i think
and the light gear for the boat macky and codling
