Dusted the summer gear off for the first sesh of the year, as i thought the NE winds have set the fishing back with the large amouts of sand etc in the water.
Anyway using 2 rods 1 baited and 1 with daylights and redgills i managed 1 8" coalie and 1 1lb codling on runny down and rag. Nothing on the daylights or lures yet but like i said i could not see my orange lure more than 10 inches under the water.
Going to give it one more week then try again if the wind stays light and in the west n south.
Seen 2 others fishing and only seen one other codling about 1lb 1/4 caught.
