went down to the walkway on sunday morning,fished from 7 am till 11.45am with high tide about 9.15am.i wanted to fish the corner next to the old pilot jetty,but a lad beat me to it by about a minute,after a bit of a chat he graciously let me have the spot and he moved up about twenty yards. the idea was to fish into the river with a two hook rigand another rod towards the small beach that the yacht club launch from,to try and pick up a flatty,i got a whiting about a pound from rod in the river,then a flatty(small dab)from the same rod,by this time i was feeling guilty about taking the corner spot from my new ex friend,another small dab came on the same rod,and about half an hour from the end i got a coalie about a pound, nothing at all on rod in beach area,bait used was rag-coalie,yellowtail/tipped mackeralfor the other three,
