After such a good session here on monday decided on another trip over for the flounders.
Arrived 2 hours before the bore was due. Got 2 out before the bore arrived. After the bore it was unfishable for a half hour as the water raged in. As soon as the pull eased the flounders came on thick and fast. And so the pattern was set. Fished excellent on the flood and just as good on the ebb. They were still thick and fast 4 hours after the top when I packed in. Lost count today but had a huge number of flounders and a solitary eel. Best fish 44cm. All fish on fresh crab tipped with macky.
Weather was spot on too so a really enjoyable session.

Not in the least, for me its all about being out there after been cooked up in a factory all week. Just scale your tackle down lots of fish and no broth heads to spoil it. Not too far to travel either.
