    s/s today

    Fished the slab at s/s pier 12-00 noon till 7-00 pm caught 9 coalies, 3 small codling and a flounder,all returned , and only 1 of the coalies was 35cm. I was surprised that there wasn't a few cod about with the sea falling away, but it's that time of year i suppose. 1 lad came off the end with a codling 3 1/2 lb. i enjoyed the day apart from the occaisional blizzard. Did anybody else catch owt today ? should have been in catch reports...
