Hello lads just got in from Hartlepool. Best fish of the day was from Verrils chippy at dinnertime.
Saw Bob C on the pier. Said it had been slow all day. I set up and went on to catch three dabs. All foul hooked. Sort of summed up the day.
Anyway load of lads came on from Owton Manor angling club so and rods fishing increased.
Fish did not.
I had had enough by half seven and left.
It was odd having a breeze in your face when it has been behind me so long.

Forgot to say lad was telling me he had had a six pounder the night before.
