            Jimbob i,m a bit like you in many respects. I like to go fishing and it does not bother me when i am alone. You also can have a bit crack with the other lads fishing.
            I have yet to nail a big cod. But i will keep trying. Well done on the doubler.
            My time will come (one day).

                Definitly a doubler., them spring scales are normally s**t for being accurate, looks bigger than my 9lber so i definitly say a double.

                    Looks bigger than an 8.5?

                    Seriously though, does a fish loose any weight after being caught?

                          The fish had eaten 2 small crabs, 1 x 4inch diameter crab (whole), a prawn and a couple of luggies. The big crab was wholly intact. Think I'll up me hook sizes lol

                              really nice looking fish there jimbob. i am going to try and get down early in the week and hopefully get my first doubler. did it have any roe in it
                              target of 10 codling this season and gonna try for a pig!!!!1

                                forecast- wind wise looks good for next week with North winds forecast, might be a few more good fish taken.
