fished just over the beck from before high last night, stayed till 4, two fish, small rockling bout 1/2 lb followed on high water by a small whiting of about the same weight, dunno if the rain that started ruined the fishing, used frozen microwave defrosted runnydown ( hardens em up nice) with fresh blow lug tipped with squid, and blow wrapped with mussel on the second rod, missed what felt like a typical whiting bite when i picked up the rod using braid, wind picking up did somewhat throw the rods about making delicate bite detection a pain to see, mainly however the baits came back untouched, saw a couple of others but dont know how they did
