    went fishing on marsdon beach lastnite for a few hours. court about 4coalies a place a bull ed n a rockling about 1lb.all returned.went on roker pear this morning me and me pal where there 4hours.he took 6whiting home and i took 8.both had a whiting around the 2lb mark and some arond 1lb n half.some toppers like.but when we filletted them every one was full of worms.

        welldone lads atleast there was fish to add ,proper minging them whities like ,flesh crawling with them gutworm

            i know what you mean every decent whity ive caught has been full of worms in the gut area.
            target of 10 codling this season and gonna try for a pig!!!!1

              Well done mate canny results for what the seas been like lately.The whitings/whiteys seem to be getting eaten away with those horrible gut worms they look disgusting loads of whiteys have had them in them recently, reading a magazine the other day and this issue about gut worms was mentioned and they reckon mostly every fish has them in them but whiting are the most common to have them.

                cracking sess andwhiteys lads, real shame about the worms. a lot of mackerel seemed riddled with the sods as well last year.
                hopefully some fishcakes next time!!
