  • Roker pier species and big plaice

    Me and mad rob fished the above from 10.30 till 6.30 behind the bunker for some wind protection big rod and species rods ( small rod ) each
    Met mike Thunderpants and mike cosmic cat on pier both left us with some rag so cheers boys
    1st cast and a double shot of coalie and scorpion fish

    It was nearly a fish every cast if I said we caught about 80 fish between us I got 7 species. Dab. Coalie. Codling. Whiting. Scorpion fish. Flounder and a blenny
    Rob got 4 species. Codling. Coalie. Scorpion fish and the best fish of the day a 1 3/4 lb plaice at 45cm a beauty mate

    Very windy and sorry cosmic cat but still giggling at you 5 piece sonic rod now lol snapped as he casted
    First fishing session since damaging my wrist ligaments at work boys , no crude remarks please nice easy session and very busy with both rods going constantly

        Lovely Plaice there, bloody typical the seas forecast to get away again next couple of days which will bugger things up again for the summer species.

        You all did a damn sight better than those of us in the Seaham comp, obviously the fish have all headed off to Roker for the weekend

                      2016 - Cod, Dab, Dogfish, Gurnard, Ling, Mackerel, Saithe, Scorpian fish. .

                          That's a cracking sesh and a great report. Well done lads. Best plaice reported this year so far too. Was it bling or no bling that nailed it?

                            No bling requird m8 just wrag worm didnt no it was on it was a bit windy 2 see bites on big rod it me pb on place hopfully more 2 come

                              Excellent session there, we'll done. That's by far the best plaice this year Rob! Hope I get some like that. Roker pier's been good to you two lately.
