No cod but my god there was loads of whities and flatties today.
Myself and insano went down for 12:30pm until 8pm. We had a competition to see who could catch the most. After a while we gave up counting we must have had over 50 fish between us. Big whities and some decent size flatties.
All went back except four big whities. I gave two to an old chap fishing next to me who was a new starter. Ian kept two he caught for his neighbour.
I was using a three hook flapper on one rod and a pulley rig on the other rod.
    Used mussel,rag,runney down,peeler,SARDINE, mackeral,razer.
    Small rag did the bizz.
    A good day.
Ian will download some photos when he gets the chance cos when we got home he went to the pub.

    Mick.

I think 50 is a conservative estimate, at least 60 i would say. Nothing big but was excellent sport! best session i have had in ages. never lost a sinker, wind dropped and it never rained!

oh and i even caught a rockling!!!!

it must have weighed less than an ounce!!

will post pics in the morning , im busy eating jumbo sausage and chips at the mo!
