    Here fishy fishy... Northumberland

    Was out yesterday teatime with another lad and headed up the coast to a well known spot. Fished 3hrs ish and had 13 flounders... All except one being well undersized. Mate had a similar number but also bagged two schoolie bass!! You know the fishing gods are not smiling on you when your mate fishes the same area with the same bait and he catches two and you dont get one! anyway, my first session in a while so was nice to be out. Baits used rag ad maccy cast maybe 30-40yds into the small surf with 3oz plain leads and two hook flappers. He has been advised to joint the forums an get his pics uploaded! Should be pics added later. All fish far too small and released.

                      It's only just starting mike!! Got my aims for the summer sorted, bass on the lure and a dozen sized plaice... Just need a little settled weather first

                          They are there mick!! The most annoying thing is the spot I fished was where I went with Fishingmark last summer on the most perfect bassy day ever and we blanked other than the odd flattie.... Right spot at the right time I guess. Better than fishing in a fish tank though
