    Whitley pipe

    Three of us fished whitley pipe today and not a single bite between us...... we tried off the end and at the bend.

    My mate fished beside spillers on boxing day and had a 2lb. codling and his young son had a couple 1lb. whiting..

    Looks like it's the river thats fishing the best until we have a good blow...
    It's a thin line that seperates an Angler from a madman standing on the beach in january at midnight in -5 degrees with a northerly wind blowing in your face

    yes m8 we seen you we were fishing on the rocks to your right my m8 had a rockling and my other m8 had a scotch haddock both returned to fight another day but i blanked we definetly need a good blow all we can do is keep on trying

          Aye, i'll certainly be doing that... you can only feed the crabs for so long before a fish of a lifetime takes your bait.....
