Just back from a weeks fishing holiday lads and what a week weather wise for Norway. No rain or wind to speak of and quite mild.Organiser Ian Peacock of Din Tur holidays Horden. And what an excellent job he did. We had a compo festival with top notch prizes based over 4 days fishing. None of our team score top prizes but got still got some canny prizes.
Although out of the compo times of 4 days here is a couple of fish we caught before and after the compo. First my mate Ian J who got a 12lb er 10 mins from our digs.
Then a fish I have been after since my first Norway adventure 4 years ago a nice Haddock of 6 lb.
]
A nice Cod for me an hour or so before we left caught near the own of Lauvnes 12 mins from apartments.
Biggest fish of comp was a 13 pounder.
Herring had started to make an appearance due to mild weather (my mate even caught a one on my spinning outfit with subikis)-made the cod fishing tad slowr but not one person complained.
Thanks to Ian and the Din Tur team for a fantastic week and I have no doubt we will be back.
Tight lines Mick
