Me and mad rob fished from 5.30 tea time until 4 in the morning met a few Nesa lads on the pier Jeff brunt Nooofish and cosmic cat and all said the same nowt happening
Set up at second steps with 2 rods each fished for 2 hours with only a few small bites
So we headed to the end it was a nightmare with the wind but got shelter with the lighthouse
I got the 1st codling which was 41cm and deep hooked and also had another trace in its mouth so kept it as was knackered. Then as the tide hit bottom water I was into a better fish of 47 cm
Mad rob dragged a all tommy in by its eyebrow lol then I got a 5 bearded rockling and a flounder for the species list
Then came the snow and bad wind but we persisted and it payed rewards we ended up with 6 keepers smallest 42cm and largest 56cm weighing just under 12 lb
We had quite a bit bait but fresh lug tipped off squid done the damage long cold night but will be eating cod n chips for a week lol
Ps cheers mad rob for your 2 fish
Between us we had 8 codling. 2 flounders. 2 rocklings cheers all and good night
