  • Craster Thursday 27th

Me and Stefan decided on a run to craster after a couple of weeks of no fishing. Got to the black hole around 10:30 this morning and the sea looked perfect nice big ground swell and plenty coloured water. 1st chuck for Stefan resulted in a nice fish weighing 2.5lb. But nothing for the next hour so headed down to cullernose. 1st cast for me and I Couldn't see any fish being landed but to my surprise after 20 minutes I got a good knock and landed a fish just over 2.5lb. Looked a hell of a lot bigger as I dragged it over the ledge. Plenty bites for me but Stefan was struggling a few chuck later I found myself dragging another one in this time slightly smaller at 2lb. Things started to slow down so headed back up towards the hole. But again nothing produced but we had a great time out. It's good to be by the water and catching isn't it. Felt like a summers day aswell. Shame there was no more fish for us Stefan but was nice to be out with you again
