  • Horden 27/28

    27/10/07 3pm - 3am

Fished the north end again from high tide down and back up. 2 Whiting on the way down and 1 codling about 1 3/4lb at low water. Nothing on the flood. Used all baits going including white rag and crab.

    28/10/07 2pm - 8pm

Fished the south end for a change, 6 hours and 1 bloody rockling to show for it.

All in all a very poor weekend considering the tides.

well done for tryin sean mate. I eventually got out sunday night. Fished the end of Blyth pier from 8pm till 3 am. Had 8 whiting, 1 cod about 1.5 lbs, 2 coaly and 2 decent flatties. Good craic with the lads altho was windy as out by the end.

Had the whities for dinner the next day. Block filleted fried in butter then on a few slices of toast. fantastic. Don't kno why people don't eat more of them.

Nice to see you had better luck than me Andy. I love fishing at Blyth, got my PB there when I was 18, 12lb 8oz from the ramp. Going to try somewhere different this weekend if i'm down.
