    Alright Lads,forgot to add this to my post the other day i had what i think is a tadpole fish about a 1lb and a mouthful of sharp teeth, has anyone else caught one from the shore and in the bloody tyne haha

    Yes mate definately a tadopole fish. Never heard of anyone catching one in the Tyne before. Well done. Cracking unusual catch.

      My mate caught one off amble about 5 year ago. We didn't have a clue what it was. Was bigger than the one you caught though.

        tadpole fish are been caught more and more off both piers last few years tyne mouth lad had a potential british record but just wanted to get it back in the water alive ,fair play to him. davy.

                Alright Peter, no we stayed till 11.30 then called it a night but a few more lads came on to fish the ebb at the end, i hope they stayed away from the dodgy characters with the firewood
