had a last minute sesh down horden arriced at half five to fish the blocks to find the beach packed. armed with frozen baits (runny rag herring and sprats , i set up my scratching rig ( 7`0 circle up top and size 1 aberdeen below the sinker. had whiting from first cast. all nice and fat . had 11 in total , released most of em . got given a couple of whiting too of the blokes next to me . kept five decent whiteys . all tasken on 7`0 circle bar a tiny codling taken on lug on the bottom hook. top bait tonight was sprats for me . canny 2 and half hr sesh for me . not gonna bother with photos as u all know what whiteys look like. just wanted to say the circles worked a treat all whitey lip hooked bar one . on the plus side the one that wasnt lip hooked allowed my to successfully use my t bar disgorger effectively(finally figured it out lol)

I had a tiny codling and a few smallish whiting that day, 1 was a keeper but returned also as it was final cast. Fished over low water.
