Yes that was correct. Jeff King 19lb+ he also got 2nd and 3rd heaviest fish as well as 1st in the teams. Biggest fish was 8lb+.

I blanked but it was my first open and it was great fun.

I was fishing with Fishfinder and he pulled in a cod on last cast to just get into the prizes. Loads of fish weighed in but not many from Cambois rocks where we were fishing.

Geof King won it with 19-01oz bag from private beach and boathouse rocks he had 2nd and 3rd heaviest fish both between 6 and 7lb mark I think Andy Hooper(CHUCKA) was second from bog hall rocks and heaviest fish was 8lb+ dunno who caught it but he had wrecked his ankle who ever it was

Jeff starting the winter like last year, got to say he's consistant. Well done again to Chucka.

Fished a club match up at Craster and there were a few around fishing the Open. Lad I know had three for about 6lb from south of the harbour. All still red so some resident fish about. I had a few knocks but nothing caught, bites to lug and crab, should have had one of them out but tossed it. Finished the match with a flounder about 2lb from the harbour end. Anyone wanting a bit flatty bashing the flounder and another caught there are solid, thick fish and really healthy.
