  • early bird catches the fish

Fished seaburn last night last 3 down first 1 back. Nowt for first couple of chucks, so moved further right. Went bananas after that. Ended up with 4 fish for 12lb, lost another 2 in snags and missed countless bites. All fish caught were lipped. On another day I could have had double figures. Still chuffed with the session though. Kept 3 and returned the 4th. Bring on the winds next week!

Straight down from the Bay apartments mate. You can fish either left or right of the outcrop, but the left tends to empty out sharpish. I fished to the right last night. Mostly lug baits, although I was still getting knocks on mussel when the worm ran out.

Picture finally attached (I hope). The one I put back was roughly the same size as the smaller one.
