Fished at Collywell Bay tonight with Fishfinder and Marksworld. 1st cast and Paul lived up to his name and pulled in a nice cod 2-2 1/2lb. Mark was next with one about the same size....(but not before he lost a rockling) then me and Paul both had fish on about the 2lb mark. I was chuffed to bits as it was the first half decent fish i've had for a while ...nowt huge but still a nice fish.
We finished the night with six cod and two rockling..Paul getting the second on his last cast. Great night and nice to meet you Mark and nice to fish with you both hope i can tag along again soon!
Best shore caught fish:- Pollock 6lb+ Beadnell, 9lb 8oz Cod Blyth Beach

Just wish I could get out myself Paul. Never mind hospital on Friday, hopefully an op soon after and again hopefully back to normal whatever that is lol. I can hardly walk at all now so what ever they want to do just bring it on.

Cheers mate fingers crossed it shouldn't be long.

As it is getting close to winter I am surprised Mark didn't have any coffin sweets.

These encouraging and inspiring late summer/autumn catch reports are worrying me sick - My Winter is going to be even worse than last winter - not least because Geordie's a year older.

Enjoy the Pre-med and that wonderful few hours when you wake up and can enjoy pure heroin without getting locked up. Next thing you know you're waiting for a Taxi in your Jim Jams drinking Bovril and smoking dumpers.
