Hendon Prom.

Undecided where to go today lads but decided on the Prom at Hendon for some easy fishing and Gary had frozen blacks at Nets.
Met up with my mate Chut and started fishing about 2pm until about 6pm-2 hrs either side of high tide. Two rods one with a three hook flapper with small baits and the other a big pulley rig with big bluey baits.
Nowt caught on the big baits and Chut was using crab, blacks and cart.
I was busy with the three hook flapper. Caught flattys, Small coalies, very small Codling and at least half a dozen Rocklings. Kept me busy.

3 of us fishing at the first car turn 1.00pm till 6pm ... bit disappointing at first with a promising sea running we did alright and got supper to take back to Stanley ... eventually !

I was in third bay as you drive in . Few guys stopped to talk as they drove past along the Prom. No one to my left so u must have been to the right. Saw motor on lower level quite a way along. It turned around later with headlights on.

Aye that was us. Thought it might get too splashy at one point but avoided a soaking and had 2 good fish at the end 2lb and 3lb 4oz so happy ending as they say in dodgy massage parlours
