  • Lynemouth Beach 12/1/14

Fished 7-11 on Sunday night. Straight out from traveller site.

First chuck resulted in this bang on low water and thought we were in for a decent night, but unfortunately the first cast curse struck.

Fish weighed in at just over 4lb and was taken on squid and black lug.

This was as soon as we landed with no-one else on beach so no chance of it being the same solitary fish lol

Nice fish mate. Did you loose much gear, just I was there a couple of days ago and was hung up a few times, and just the same when I moved along 100yds further north.

Don't think we did m8. The odd time it snagged up on the way in, I was just letting a bit line off and the swell was washing me back out.

how do you get to that part of the beach mate? is it north of the pipe? do you drive past alcan? or could you park at alcan walk to the pipe then round the back of alcan? cheers.

You can park at the alcan and walk north up the beach but your best to drive around and park just outside the travellers site and walk straight over the dunes. Your car should be safe there mate we have parked there for years without any problems.

thanks for the reply and info mate, so I would imagine to get to the travellers site id just drive straight past alcan instead of turning right into alcan? cheers.
